# How to Generate Your Delta Exchange Tax Report with KoinX

## Connect Delta Exchange to KoinX

**Delta Exchange uses File Upload only - export your Fill History, Order History, and Asset History files and upload them together in KoinX.**

            Go to [delta.exchange](https://www.delta.exchange) and sign in to your account.

            Click the **profile icon** in the top right corner and select **Transaction Logs**.

          <Step title="Apply custom date range in Fill History">
            Under **Fill History**, click on **Time Period** and apply the **Custom** time period filter. Select the full date range of your trades from account creation to today.

            Click the **Download** button to download your Fill History file. Do not open it.

            On the same Transaction Logs page, select **Order History**.

            In **Time Period**, select the range from your first trade on Delta Exchange until today.

            Click the **Download** icon to download the report in **CSV** format. Do not open it.

    ## Upload to KoinX

      <Step title="Open KoinX Integrations">
        Log in to [app.koinx.com](https://app.koinx.com) -> **Integrations** -> **Add Integration**.

      <Step title="Select Delta Exchange">
        Search for **Delta Exchange** and select it.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Upload all three files">
        Click **Upload** and select all your Delta Exchange files - Fill History, Order History, and Asset History. Multi-select works.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Submit">
        Click **Submit**. KoinX processes your files and imports your full transaction history.
      </Step>

    <Check>
      **Done.** KoinX reads your transactions, classifies them, and prepares everything for gains calculation and report generation.

    Now that your Delta Exchange files are in, head to [Tax Reports](https://app.koinx.com/tax-report) on KoinX - your capital gains across futures, options, perpetuals, and asset history are already calculated and your report is ready to download.

      **Never open or edit your Delta Exchange files before uploading.** This corrupts the file format. If you already did - re-download fresh copies from Delta Exchange and upload those instead.

## Frequently asked questions

  <Accordion title="Do I need to upload all three files for a complete import?">
    Yes. The Fill History, Order History, and Asset History files are all required. Fill History covers your trade activity across futures, options, and perpetuals. Order History covers your full order activity, including orders that were placed, modified, or cancelled. Asset History covers your deposits, withdrawals, and asset transfers. Uploading only one or two of these files will result in an incomplete transaction history.

  <Accordion title="How far back should my Delta Exchange date range go?">
    Set the date range from when you opened your Delta Exchange account (or your first trade, for Order History) to today to capture your complete history. Partial exports lead to missing transactions and inaccurate tax calculations.

  <Accordion title="Do I need multiple files if I have a long trading history?">
    Yes. If your history spans a long period, you may need to download multiple files per report type by splitting the date range. Label each file clearly by report type and date range before uploading. Upload all files together in one KoinX session.

  <Accordion title="What's the difference between Fill History and Order History?">
    Fill History records the trades that were actually executed - the fills that make up your realized positions. Order History records your full order activity, including orders that were placed, modified, or cancelled, which helps KoinX build a more complete picture of your trading activity. Both are needed alongside Asset History for accurate gains calculation.

    No. Delta Exchange does not provide tax-ready reports. By exporting your Fill History, Order History, and Asset History files and importing them into KoinX, your full transaction history is processed and a compliant, country-specific tax report is generated within minutes.

## Troubleshooting

    Re-download fresh copies of all three files from Delta Exchange without opening them. Opening the files in Excel or Google Sheets reformats the structure and breaks the upload. Always upload the original unmodified files.

  <Accordion title="Transactions are missing after upload">
    Confirm the Fill History, Order History, and Asset History files were all uploaded and that the date range covers your full account history from creation (or first trade) to today. If records from specific periods are missing, download separate files for those periods and re-upload everything together.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Multiple files are causing confusion">
    Label each file clearly with its report type and date range before uploading (e.g. fill-history-2023, order-history-2023, asset-history-2023). Upload all files together in one KoinX session - KoinX deduplicates overlapping records automatically.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Asset History transactions are missing from KoinX">
    Confirm the Asset History file was downloaded separately from **Transaction Logs** -> **Asset History** and uploaded alongside the Fill History and Order History files. All three files must be uploaded together for a complete import.

  <Accordion title="Order History transactions are missing from KoinX">
    Confirm the Order History file was downloaded separately from **Transaction Logs** -> **Order History** in CSV format, with the time period set from your first trade to today, and uploaded alongside the Fill History and Asset History files.

  <Accordion title="KoinX is showing duplicate Delta Exchange transactions">
    This happens when overlapping files covering the same date range are uploaded. Go to **KoinX** -> **Integrations**, remove the duplicate Delta Exchange upload, and re-upload a clean set of files with no overlapping date ranges.

  <Accordion title="Custom date filter is not applying on Delta Exchange">
    Ensure you click **Time Period** and select **Custom** before entering your date range. If the filter does not apply, try refreshing the Transaction Logs page and reapplying the date range before downloading.
